SNYF (Sunday Night Youth Fellowship) begins with youth choir @ 4:00 pm in choir room, followed by dinner, fellowship, recreation, and mission planning.

Sunday Evenings: Youth Choir and Sunday Night Youth Fellowship (SNYF) activities will begin on January 3rd at 4:00pm. We are going to try something new this month by designating a theme for every Sunday night of the month. We will start with a night of singing, prayer, and devotion to start preparing ourselves for the new church year and school semester. The next week we will play games together (someone bring Monopoly!). On the 24th, we will focus on youth missions, brainstorming about ways to actively share the love of Christ with Macon. Finally, we will wrap up the month with a movie and popcorn night. You are always encouraged to invite your friends to these activities! All are welcome.
Wednesday Evenings: EQUIP will reconvene on January 6th in the youth room at 6:30pm. We will continue our investigation of theology and who our God is. Remember to bring your bibles and your brain! The floor is always open for discussion and questions, so don’t be shy about getting involved! Pursuing God together is cool!
Basketball Concessions: Vineville youth will be manning the men’s basketball league concessions this year on Thursdays from January 7th through March 18th. We will need approximately 2 youth and 1 adult volunteer each Thursday night. Sign-ups will begin on January 3rd. Proceeds will be evenly split between student workers (per hours worked) and applied to your youth mission trip accounts. Everyone will have an opportunity to sign-up for this opportunity. Check your calendars because promptness and attendance are essential.
Youth Choir Festival attendees: You will receive packing lists from me soon! It will be similar schedule and details as last year. We only have two Sunday rehearsals before Youth Choir Festival, so attendance is key! Festival this year is going to be great! Hampton or bust!
Ice Skating: Friday, January 8th , we will go ice-skating at Macon Centreplex!! Meet at the church at 6:30pm, wearing warm clothes with $8.00 in your pocket. Ask Marisol how to dress appropriately for ice-skating….she is a pro! We will be back at the church at 9:15pm.
Square-Dance and BBQ: Saturday, January 23rd. We are having this event to encourage church-wide fellowship and to raise money for summer missions. Youth will need to arrive at 4:00 pm for set-up and directions. This will certainly be a fun evening! There will be a professional square dance caller to teach us and plenty of pig to go around. We will sell a limited number of tickets on Sundays and Wednesdays beginning January 3rd. Swing your partner! Dress square dance appropriate for the full effect!
